We are local writers bringing you small business news, community events, and trending topics within Eastern Massachusetts. We publish here on Substack, as well as MSN, NewsBreak, and our weekly newsletter, Community Connections.

Who are we?

Two local writers who are passionate about connecting and educating the New England community. We both share a love for our region and a dedication to sharing stories that matter.

Dianna is an independent writer and creator focused on uplifting small businesses and bringing people together through local events. With a background in Early Childhood Education, she made a career change in 2020 to pursue her passion for writing and connecting people. She's the founder of Community Connections, our free weekly newsletter that helps Southeastern Massachusetts residents feel more connected to their local community. Camilo brings a background in biology and education, with years of experience educating the public about animals, pets, and nature. You might know him from his animal shows, his time on Captain John's Whale Watching Boat, or his work at the New England Wildlife Center.
