You’re Invited to a Local Wildlife Baby Shower Happening on Cape Cod
Wild Care, a local wildlife rehabilitation center, is gearing up for one of its busiest seasons with a special Wildlife Baby Shower event.
Wild Care, a local wildlife rehabilitation center in Eastham, Massachusetts, is gearing up for one of its busiest seasons with a special Wildlife Baby Shower event. The nonprofit organization, which has helped over 35,000 wild creatures representing more than 275 species of native wildlife, continues its mission of treating injured, ill, and orphaned animals while educating the public about wildlife conservation.
The upcoming Wildlife Baby Shower promises to be an engaging family-friendly celebration featuring educational presentations with Animal Ambassadors, including owls, turtles, and Mallory the Mallard Duck. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to peek into the clinic window to observe baby animal patients and enjoy activities such as children's crafts, games, and face painting. The event will also feature refreshments and a special appearance by the "Good Times" ice cream truck.
While admission is free, attendees are encouraged to bring items from Wild Care's Baby Shower Wish List, ranging from basic supplies like tissues and paper towels to specific needs such as heating pads and butterfly habitats (check out the full wishlist below or by clicking here). Those who contribute items will be entered into a drawing for a gift basket filled with local business donations. For supporters unable to attend, Wild Care welcomes monetary donations and gift cards from various retailers to help support their vital work.
If the Wildlife Baby Shower sounds like an event you won't want to miss, then be sure to mark your calendar for Saturday, June 14th, from 11 AM to 2 PM at Wild Care (10 Smith Lane) in Eastham, Massachusetts.
