The Pembroke Historical Society is gearing up for its 49th Annual Grand Old Fish Fry, a cherished community tradition set to take place on Sunday, May 4, 2025. This popular fundraising event promises a day filled with family-friendly activities, including face-painting, Captain Quack's duck races, and dunk tanks, all accompanied by live music. Attendees can enjoy a variety of food options, from traditional hot dogs and hamburgers to the event's namesake herring, along with refreshments such as popcorn, sweets, and beverages.
"Once again this year, we’re grateful to be joined by Lori & Jason Cook along with their staff from Somewhere Else Tavern. The Cooks have supported us for many years in many ways, including cooking at The Grand Old Fish Fry, hosting Pembroke Historical Society Trivia nights and meat raffles at Somewhere Else Tavern," explains the Pembroke Historical Society.
