Get ready for a celebration of recovery and community with the upcoming very first Recovery Fest!
Get ready for a celebration of recovery and community with the upcoming very first Norfolk County Recovery Fest happening in Braintree! The family-friendly event, jointly organized by the HOPE Center and Wey of Life Peer Recovery Center, promises to be a day filled with joy, connection, and inspiration. The festival aims to create a welcoming space where recovery stories can be shared and celebrated, bringing together people from all walks of life.
"The Norfolk County Recovery Fest is a free, family-friendly event open to all, welcoming individuals in recovery, their families, friends, and the broader community. Attendees will include people at all stages of recovery, loved ones offering support, community members, treatment professionals, local organizations, and advocates for recovery." - HOPE Center
Against the backdrop of live music performances, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in various activities that foster community and celebrate personal triumphs. From the thrill of a zip line adventure to friendly competition in a cornhole tournament, the event offers a diverse range of entertainment options that cater to all age groups. Families can look forward to an array of games and activities, while community members can explore informative vendor tables and enjoy complimentary food throughout the day.
This festival serves as a powerful reminder that recovery affects everyone in our community, either directly or indirectly, and that support and understanding are vital elements of the healing journey. The event creates a safe, judgment-free environment where connections can flourish and hope can thrive. If Recovery Fest sounds like an event you won't want to miss, then be sure to mark your calendar for Saturday, June 14th, and swing by 2015 Washington Street in Braintree from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Recovery Frest is completely free and requires no pre-registration.
