Downtown Taunton is gearing up for the 5th Annual Downtown Art Jam, an event that brings together artists, performers, and art lovers of all ages. The Downtown Art Jam promises a day filled with creativity, entertainment, and fun, stating: "Art Jam is an opportunity for people of all ages to immerse themselves in multiple forms of art in a relaxed and fun environment. There is live music, dancing, painting, drawing, artist exhibits, local literature, artist & craft vendors, food vendors, and sidewalk chalk (an Art Jam tradition since year one)."
On Saturday, May 17th, from 12 PM to 4 PM, the streets of Downtown Taunton will come alive with art exhibits, music and dance performances, local artist demonstrations, and craft vendors. The best part? Art Jam is free to attend, and there will be plenty of hands-on art activities for all ages to enjoy, keeping everyone in the family entertained without breaking the bank.
"At Art Jam, you can be as hands on or hands off as you'd like. There are lots of free art activities for the public to try, lots of artist demos. The event is spread out at various sites in downtown Taunton and attendees can walk around to enjoy the festival-like atmosphere."
