Taunton Announces First Light Casino Welcome Center Grand Opening

In an exciting development for the Taunton community, the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe has announced the grand opening of the First Light Casino "Welcome Center" this Sunday, January 26, 2025. According to an announcement from the City of Taunton, the event will take place from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 1 O'Connell Way in East Taunton.
The 2,000-square-foot Welcome Center will serve as a preview space for the tribe's future casino plans. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience ten slot gaming machines, offering a glimpse of what's to come at the full casino development. This opening marks a significant step in the Tribe's development of their reservation lands in Taunton.
