Popular Local Business Announces New Location in Kingston
The announcement marks a milestone in the company's five-year journey in the local coffee scene.
South Shore's popular establishment SlackTide Coffee has announced they'll be opening a new location. The announcement, made via social media on Thursday, January 16th, marks a milestone in the company's five-year journey in the local coffee scene. The new spot, located on Pembroke Street in Kingston, previously operated as Nino's Deli and Ice Cream and will be transformed in the coming months into SlackTide's third location. While specific opening dates haven't been confirmed, the company expressed hopes for a spring or early summer launch. SlackTide Coffee emphasized their commitment to maintaining the location's ice cream service while incorporating their signature offerings, including locally roasted coffee, homemade donuts, and breakfast sandos.
"We are grateful to expand into the Kingston community and think this will be a perfect 3rd shop," stated SlackTide Coffee in their announcement. This expansion follows the success of SlackTide's existing locations in Marshfield and Hanover. The company attributes its growth to strong community support and dedicated staff members. "We couldn't be where we are now without all of our incredible staff, our friends and families, and especially, the South Shore community that has supported us these past 5 years," the announcement acknowledged.
