Petting Zoo, Pumpkin Decorating & More: Don't Miss the Sandwich Recreation Fall Fest!
Activities will include pumpkin decorating, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, carnival-style games, and fall photo opportunities!
The Sandwich Recreation Department is bringing back its Annual Fall Fest on Saturday, November 1st, with an expanded lineup of activities and new community partnerships designed to make this year’s celebration “bigger, better, and more festive than ever.” The family-friendly autumn festival, happening at Oak Crest Cove Park, will feature three staggered entry times at 4:30 PM, 5:45 PM, and 7:00 PM, to accommodate parking constraints and venue capacity while ensuring a more enjoyable experience for attendees. Admission is $10 per person, with children under 2 admitted free of charge.
This year marks a significant expansion for the event, as the Recreation Department has partnered with the Sandwich Elementary PTA and the Sandwich Foundation to enhance programming. Activities will include pumpkin decorating, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, carnival-style games, and fall photo opportunities. Live music will be provided by The Moonlighters, and food trucks will be on site offering refreshments at an additional cost.
“We’re thrilled to announce the return of our Annual Fall Fest,” the Sandwich Recreation Department shared with the community. The department emphasized that “Fall Fest 2025 promises to be a magical evening where our community comes together to celebrate the season.”
Advanced ticket purchases are strongly encouraged, as walk-up sales at the gate will not be available once time slots reach capacity. Registration is open now at www.sandwichrec.com. The Recreation Department is also seeking volunteers to help staff the event. Community members interested in contributing can contact the department at (508) 888-4361.
