The holiday spirit was on full display for the past month as the City of Taunton shared photos of residents' gingerbread houses on Facebook as they were entered in the City's annual Gingerbread House Contest. After two weeks of delicious-looking entries and much anticipation, Taunton announced the winners of its 2024 Gingerbread House Contest on Monday, December 23rd. Deborah won the adult category, with a beautiful entry that included a snowman and a sleigh, while Sarah won the youth category, with her entry being a splendid creation of Christmas magic.
The annual competition, which kicked off on December 9th, invited residents to showcase their talents through creative gingerbread house constructions. City officials noted that this year's contest featured an impressive array of entries, highlighting the community's enthusiastic participation in this festive tradition. The City of Taunton also expressed gratitude to all contestants for their contributions to making the holiday season more festive for the entire community.
