Haddad's Ocean Cafe, a beloved family-owned restaurant in Marshfield, has announced that it will change hands after 87 years of operation. Established in 1937, the restaurant is currently run by the fourth generation of the Haddad family and is known for its fresh seafood caught by local fishermen.
Earlier this summer the owners of Haddad revealed that the new owners of the restaurant would become the Assembly Restaurant Group. As the transition of ownership approaches, Haddad's Ocean Cafe has now announced its final operating schedule under the Haddad family management. The last day of operation under the Haddad family will be Wednesday, September 18, 2024. The restaurant then clarified its opening times leading up to the final day under family management. They will be open on Saturday, September 14th at 11:30 AM, Sunday, September 15th at noon, and Monday, September 16th at 11:30 AM. The establishment will be closed on Tuesday, September 17th, before reopening for its final day on Wednesday, September 18th at 11:30 AM.
