Final Chance to Join Expert-Led Nature Walk at New England Wildlife Center
The program aims to connect visitors with the natural world right in their own backyard.
As the summer winds down, there's one last chance to experience the New England Wildlife Center's "Nature Walks with Riley" series. The final guided tour is scheduled for Thursday, August 21, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, offering a unique opportunity to explore the region's native flora and fauna with expert guidance.
Led by biologist and educator Riley, the interactive walk-and-talk session will guide participants through the Center's nature trails, providing hands-on learning about local ecosystems. Whether you're interested in entomology, botany, or conservation, Riley will share her specialized knowledge, helping you identify native species and understand their vital role in our ecosystem. The program aims to connect visitors with the natural world right in their own backyard.
This event is free to attend, but a donation of $10 per participant is suggested to help support the Center's wildlife education initiatives. Space is limited, so plan to arrive a few minutes early to meet in the main lobby of the hospital at the start of the tour. The New England Wildlife Center is located at 500 Columbian Street in Weymouth.
