Family-Friendly Giveaways, Crafts & More Fun at Boston Children's Winter Festival
The Winter Children's Festival will be filled with exciting family-friendly activities, including music, treats, crafts, fun giveaways, and much more.
Mayor Michelle Wu and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department have announced that the Winter Children's Festival is returning for another year! This day of fun promises to have something for everyone in the family. The best part? This community event is completely free to attend! The City of Boston explains that the Winter Children's Festival will be filled with exciting family-friendly activities, including music, treats, crafts, fun giveaways, and much more.
"The free festival is open to all and offers music, dancing, giveaways, winter activities, treats, and crafts. Featured attractions include large inflatable installations such as the All-Star Challenge, Fun House Maze, and Candy Cane Obstacle Course. Children and their caregivers can also enjoy rides on the Trackless Train, the alpine slide, snow throw, and more. LEGO® Discovery Center Boston will be in attendance with seasonal builds and activities with LEGO experts. Enjoy farm fresh milk from New England Dairy’s Mobile Dairy Bar. Try your musical skills at Boston Music Group’s instrument ‘petting zoo.’" - City of Boston
With all of the fun to be had at one free-to-attend celebration, the Winter Children's Festival is the perfect school vacation event for kids of all ages. Hosted at Boston Common (Parade Ground, Corner of Beacon and Charles Street) on Wednesday, February 19th, this festival kicks off at 11 am and runs until 2 pm, giving families three hours filled with fun.
