The City is now extending an invitation to local creators of all kinds to participate in this community celebration.
The City of Attleboro has announced plans for an exciting Makers Festival scheduled for May 31st. The event aims to showcase the vibrant talents of local artisans, crafters, and makers while paying homage to the city's manufacturing past. “The City is hosting a Makers Festival on May 31st, honoring our downtown industrial history, and highlighting our crafters and makers of today,” explains the City of Attleboro.
The City is now extending an invitation to local creators of all kinds to participate in this community celebration. Makers are encouraged to demonstrate their craft, offer interactive "make and take" activities for attendees, or sell their handcrafted goods during the festival. “We are looking for local makers who would like to demonstrate their style, host make and takes, and/or sell their wares,” states the City in their announcement. The Makers Festival, which will be hosted at Balfour Park from 11 am until 2 pm on May 31st, aims to help local artisans to gain exposure while connecting with the community.
