Get ready for a magical evening of Broadway hits set against the backdrop of Duxbury Bay! In a recent conversation with producer Mickey White, I learned about Harbour Lights Theatre's upcoming presentation of "Everything's Coming Up Roses... An Enchanting Evening of Show-Stopping Songs" happening on Saturday, April 12th, at the Duxbury Bay Maritime School. With two performances at 5 PM and 8 PM, this one-night-only event promises to be a spectacular celebration of musical theater featuring six professional performers from New York City.
The talented cast, including performers from hit shows such as Chicago, Hairspray, Fiddler on the Roof, and Pretty Woman, will bring to life beloved classics from Mamma Mia!, RENT, Waitress, and more. "We are really excited to showcase their incredible talent and give a little glimpse of the talent we’ll be bringing to the South Shore this summer with Harbour Lights," explains White. “It’s going to be a beautiful evening.”
This special event marks an exciting chapter for Harbour Lights Theatre, a new not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing Broadway-quality productions to the South Shore. The evening will feature a live band, signature cocktails, and breathtaking views of Duxbury Bay. Attendees can also look forward to exciting season announcements and participation in a silent auction. “It’s going to be a big, fun, exciting evening that I’m so excited to bring to the community,” states White.
As spring approaches, there's no better way to welcome the season than with an evening of uplifting music, professional performances, and the stunning backdrop of Duxbury Bay. Whether you're a musical theater enthusiast or simply looking for a unique night out, "Everything's Coming Up Roses" offers the perfect opportunity to experience Broadway-caliber entertainment right here on the South Shore.
To reserve tickets, which are priced at $50, visit Harbour Lights Theatre’s website at www.harbourlightstheatre.com/productions. While the 5 PM show is now sold out except for VIP tickets, there are still limited seats available for the 8 PM sunset performance. Don’t wait to purchase tickets for what promises to be an unforgettable celebration of musical theater on the South Shore.
